Even though I use digital productivity apps and calendars, I also use a paper planner. And
have I mentioned that I LOVE my paper planner? As an organizational coach, I help people
streamline systems for more productivity. Using 2 types of planners or calendars seems
counterproductive. But let me tell you 10 reasons why I will continue to use my paper
planner.
- It’s the original digital detox – no notifications, no distractions, just me and my pen.
- There’s a certain nostalgia to it – remember carrying a cute little notebook to write your to do list into instead of typing it?
- It’s the perfect excuse to have a pretty pen a sticker collection.
- No need to worry about battery life or internet connectivity. My paper planner is already to go!
- It’s like a personal diary that includes your schedule – and let’s be real, I love reliving old memories through my planner.
- I can express my inner artist by doodling and decorating to my heart’s content and no one will judge my horrible artistic skills.
- Physically crossing things off my to-do list is a satisfying like nothing else.
- It’s like a time capsule – looking back at my old planners and to see how much I’ve accomplished, and it is very motivational.
- I’ll never forget important dates, appointments or tasks again. My memory isn’t what it used to be and now I can find it all in one place!
- No need to worry about hackers accessing my sensitive information – paper planner is safe and secure.
